Tip Tuesday
The way you use praise can affect the way your children face challenges in school and in life. Look for reasons to compliment your children, but realize you can lose their trust by over-praising. When offering praise, make sure the praise is deserved and be specific about what your children did right. "I'm proud that you stuck with that tough math problem," is better than "You're so smart."
