Parents who fill their children's rooms with everything they could ever want often create unintended problems. Their children eventually feel entitled. In school, they may feel they "deserve" good grades without putting in the work. Offer your child unlimited love, but not unlimited gifts. Insist that your children take responsibility for their work, and expect them to give their best effort. You'll be teaching them to thrive and succeed.
