Dear Families:
We know the Federal Guidelines that require us to only serve our lunches out of communities that meet those requirements causes hardship on families who do not live in those communities. By working with multiple partnerships outside of the school district, we have been able to secure more locations for bagged lunches.
Project Rooted out of Dubuque is providing lunch from 11:30-12:30 Monday-Friday in the parking lots of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Drexler Middle School in Farley, and Peosta Elementary in Peosta. These additional locations will be added starting Monday, March 23, and will run until further notice. Pull up between the hours of 11:30-12:30 for a hardy bagged lunch based on Project Rooted 2 week rotational menu.
We will continue to provide District meals for children (ages 18 and under) at our locations in Dyersville (James Kennedy Public Library) and Cascade (Cascade Elementary) Monday-Friday from 11:30-12:30.
