Western Dubuque Community School District has made a sizeable commitment to technology in all eight attendance centers with close to 3,000 devices shared throughout, and one laptop per student at grade levels 9 through 12. Technology is an essential learning tool for student success.

Microsoft 365 is a set of software tools / online communication programs that Western Dubuque Schools provides to each staff member and student for educational use. This includes Outlook (web email), OneDrive (online storage), Teams (video calling), and office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more.

itslearning is a learning management system (LMS) used throughout the district for instruction, assignments and related coursework. Itslearning is used within the classroom and for virtual learning instruction.

Parents, say hello to your sidekick. Students say hello to your new best friend. Infinite Campus Parent Portal and Student Portal gives access to grades, assignments, announcements, class schedule's and real-time notifications.

Starting in 2021 Western Dubuque School District is deploying a one laptop per student at grade levels 9 through 12 at Cascade Jr./Sr. High School and Western Dubuque High School. This assigned laptop will help with the integration of itslearning and enhance instruction. For all information regarding this District initiative please click on the link below.

Checkout devices are being approved only for students that are enrolled into full virtual learning or are currently in home isolation. These devices are being checked out as one device per household. Please do not fill out more than one form.

If a device is checked out for home/self-isolation, devices must be returned to the District Office in Farley or returned to your child’s building and given to the building’s secretary upon returning to school.

You will receive an email if your form was approved and when it is ready for pick up. Depending on when the form was completed this may take 1-2 days to complete.
